To maximize your profit and to reach the full potential of your sales, always remember that you can take advantage and offer a complete variety of products within your product niche. More often your target customers are interested in all products related to your primary item. It means you can offer unique related merchandises, accessories, high-end or expensive and those low-cost or affordable ones.

There are several ways to maximize your profit even as a beginner. You can start by cross selling. In this method you will offer your customers with products that are directly related to your primary item. For example, if you are selling mobile phones on your website it would be ideal to offer different kinds of accessories such as mobile phone carry case, a car kit, mini speaker, etc. Next is up selling, this type of strategy is done by offering your customer with a more expensive, higher-end versions of a product they are trying to purchase from your e-store. In this way you will be able to sell more expensive merchandise which will provide you a higher profit.

You could also try offering "Bundling"; this is commonly known as a package or kit offer. If you are selling SLR cameras on your website, instead of separately offering your customer with the camera (the body) itself, the lens, the flash and the bag separately, you package these items and offer them at a discount from the price of the individual items. Lastly, is offering your customers with quantity breaks. This means that you lower your per-item price as your customers increase the quantity of their order. You get more sales and high turn over of items. All in all, these methods are a win-win situation for you. Just make sure that you are doing your home work on pricing. Getting confused on how you price your items will spoil the opportunity.
