The only way to make money with a business is to sell products or services. In the case you want to sell products, you need to get those goods from somewhere. Since most people do not manufacture goods themselves, the only other option is to get products from a wholesaler.
You cannot just go with any wholesaler. There are many out there that supply inferior products, and if you are selling those kinds of products, you will have trouble retaining customers. Since products are so important, you need to invest a large amount of time in finding the perfect wholesaler, or the right mix of wholesalers (remember, you can use more than one wholesaler, and you are not confined to only one). Although the research may be tedious, the rewards of working with a reputable wholesaler make the time investment extremely rewarding.
Imagine the problems that could arise if you were working with a bad wholesaler. They may be late in getting you your products, they might break easily, and the service provided could be bad. Every part of your business should be as strong as possible, and that includes your partners. If you see a problem with a wholesaler, then simply move past it and try to find another one. It really is not that difficult; if you keep persisting, it is only a matter of time before you succeed. Also, once you find a good wholesaler, you will probably keep them for many years, so the time you spend in finding them is nothing compared to how long you will use them.
